Inspiring terrazzo
Terrazzo is a durable and versatile material that fascinates with its unpredictable, unique patterns and unlimited color variations – from vibrant hues to subtle shades. Let yourself be inspired by our lookbook, where terrazzo takes its place in various interior environments such as living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and hallways, in a variety of shades and styles.
With origins in antiquity
With roots in ancient Italy, terrazzo began to be used to create beautiful and durable floors. By mixing marble chips with cement, organic pigments, and water, a material was created that was both durable and visually appealing. Today, terrazzo is more than just a historical material; it is a symbol of sustainable design and a distinct architectural value, making it a popular choice in modern interior design.
We offer pre-cut terrazzo tiles in several standard formats that are easily installed on site. If our standard formats do not suit your project, the tiles can be easily cut to desired dimensions. In some cases, we also offer custom orders.

Decorate with terrazzo
Terrazzo is a versatile material that adds character and creativity to all types of environments and spaces. In addition to floors, walls, and countertops, terrazzo can also be used in furniture, stairs, or outdoor areas. Often associated with colorful and eclectic interior environments, terrazzo can also be used more subtly to create a stripped-down, Scandinavian feel. Whether you want to create a vibrant or a minimalist atmosphere, terrazzo is an excellent choice for your project.
For a more colorful expression, we offer terrazzo in shades of green, pink, and blue, with elements of marble fragments in different sizes and shades. This interplay between color and form creates a dynamic and lively impression. A tip is to select a number of colors that are picked up in different elements of the decor to create a cohesive whole. In the kitchen below, we see an inspiring example where Murray Barker allows pastel green, brownish-red, black, and gray to interact between the different elements, creating an atmosphere that is both vibrant and elegant.
For those aiming for a more minimalist feel inspired by Japandi or Scandinavian design, we have several terrazzo varieties that are excellent choices. Consider choosing a terrazzo with calm and neutral shades, where the base color and marble fragments are tone-on-tone with each other for a uniform and stripped-down expression. We recommend, for example, Snäcka, Urban, or Dune. Terrazzo can also be used as a subtle accent, for example on backsplashes or door trims, to give the room more dimension without dominating.
With its ability to balance different styles – from modern minimalism and Japandi to eclectic and colorful design – terrazzo is a timeless element in interior design. Its endless variations in form and color make it possible to realize all creative visions, and we are here to help you find the right material and create your dream home.
